Be it known on May 21st, 22nd and 23rd 1999, the Barony of Raven's Fort invites Ansteorra to spend a Day At The Manor as the first hunt of the spring is celebrated and Baronial champions are chosen.

Baronial Champions will be chosen by competition for the art of Bardic, Archery, Brewing, Equestrian and a new champion for the art of Knife, Ax and Spear. Hunts for "Wild Beasts" will be held for heavy fighters and combat archers to prove their prowess in the field.

A great hall will be opened for feasting and A&S events. All are encouraged to bring banners and other regalia to decorate the hall.

Feast will be great meats and other tastes in a Russian style that will fill the souls of those attending. The feast will have the tastes and flavors of Mother Russia, heavy in garlic, onions, mushrooms, creams and the delights of that land. Contact the Feast Steward for a menu.

A mushroom hunt, A&S demos and an A&S competition with a household utilitarian theme will be held. A&S winners will be chosen by populous vote. For more information contact the Event Steward.

Admittance is $5, feast $5. Feast sittings are limited to 100 souls, so reserve early with the feast steward. Make checks payable to SCA Inc./Barony of Raven's Fort.
