This site looks best when viewed with Internet Explorer 3.0 or greater. Netscape generally screws the formatting up.

One of the things I do for our Barony is publish our newsletter, Quoth the Raven. I accept submissions of anything pertaining to the era we study, officer's missives, event announcements, informational advertisements, etc. There are relatively few things we cannot do with it, however one thing specifically is using it as a political platform. We also do not accept for-profit or paid advertising.

Publication Guidelines

I am working on a general rule of thumb for what you need to do to publish in the Quoth, but here are the basics:

  1. All submissions must be accompanied by a release form.
  2. Submissions are due by the third Thursday of the month prior to the month you wish to publish.
  3. Articles suspected of plagarism will not be published.
  4. Artwork must be original artwork or public domain. If it is public domain, you should provide a reference from which it was culled (a photocopy of the copyright page showing the date published should be adequate).

Release Form

There are two versions of the submission form, one in Word97 format, the other in good old text. Select the one that is appropriate to you. Someday I will provide it in PDF format, but at this time I lack the facilities to do so.

    Word97 Format (30K): PubRelease.doc
    Text Format (2K): PubRelease.txt
